Folding Sliding Doors were an integral part of the design of Elaine's new home in Brighton, East Sussex. Avama, based in Hove near Brighton, were lucky enough to be the chosen company to undertake the design and installation of the folding doors at Elaines new home.

Elaine told Avama

"We bought this Brighton house in the knowledge that it required a lot of work. We loved the house as the lounge faced south and had both a lovely big bay window and also french doors. The opening for the French Doors was quite large, but the doors ad 2 fixed panes of glass on the side, and 2 opening doors in the centre. The doors were uPVC which I don't like and more importantly, they didn't give the feeling of openness I wanted.

A friend of mine in Hove had used Avama before and I contacted the company at the early stages of the project, even before we had completed! I got great advice on options available, how the folding doors would open, how many panels to have for the folding doors etc and this really helped me make up my mind.

I did see other normal Brighton  double glazing companies but liked Avama's approach as they were a specialist company. The folding doors system I chose was well priced an installed 5 weeks after I ordered.

I cannot say how much I love these folding doors. They are exceptionally easy to operate, the track system is smooth, they look great but most importantly, they completely open up the room. Just sliding open the doors gives such a feeling of space that the patio area and lounge flow like one space, just because I can open the folding sliding doors all the way back.
