BS6206 compliant Low E glass Folding Doors

Folding Sliding Doors from Avama, are designed, manufactured and installed to ensure maximum thermal efficiency and central to this is the glazing used within the door units themselves.

All folding doors systems we install are fitted with BS6206 compliant Low E glass. The use of Argon gas to fill the glazed cavity further improves the insulation properties of your doors. Argon is a safe, inert gas which has a denser structure than air, therefore helps keep the heat in your home and the cold out.

Much is made of the U values of folding doors. While the framing itself is important, the glazing is one of the key factors to ensure the best possible U values. That’s why at Avama we use double glazed, low E, argon filled units as standard.
